Mufasa (Amadeous X)

Sired by Powerful Paul and born of our star mare, Suki, they don’t come any more traditional than this!  Mufasa was born in July of 2007 and was more than we could have even dreamed of!  At only four hours old, I could hardly get my arms around him (see photo below) to "hug" him for a photo.  Mufasa quickly gained the nickname "Mack" around the barn as he was as big as a Mack truck!

Mufasa was the friendliest of all foals I have ever had the pleasure of working with.  Trying to capture a quality photo of him was challenging to say the least.  He was always one step behind you where ever you went.  Needless to say, I have a lot of "muzzle" shots.

Mufasa was sold in December of 2007 to the perfect home!  His "new" name is X, short for Amadeous X.  He was brought to his first dressage show at one year old for an in-hand class, Dressage at Lamplight held in Chicago, where he scored a 67%!

Mufasa will be run on as a stallion prospect as it looks like he has what it takes currently!  Keep an eye out for this star boy…he is sure to make a name for himself in the very near future!
