Wandamere Suki
Standing a true 17.1 hands, they don’t come any more traditional than this exceptional mare! Suki came into our life in April of 2007, and Chris reminds me almost daily that this wonderful lady will be with us forever. She has absolutely stolen our hearts! She has the sweetest personality and is always the first to the gate. If you go outside and don’t say hello to Suki, she lets you hear about it! She has such a wonderful, willing, and sweet personality. We couldn’t imagine life without her!
Suki has had five foals so far, all of which have been incredible. This lady out-produces herself time and time again. Her first three foals were all sired by the amazing bay Shire stallion, Powerful Paul (proudly owned by Found Feather Farm). Suki was pregnant with her third Powerful Paul foal when we bought her. In 2008, we bred Suki to Lord of the Ring MLF (proudly owned by Mulberry Lane Farms) for a Drum foal, and then, in 2009, we bred Suki to Shire Crest Brigadier (sadly deceased in 2011) for a Shire foal.
Suki is in foal to Lake Ridge British Sterling (proudly owned by Lake Ridge Gypsy Horses) for a 2012 Drum foal. To say we are excited about this foal is an understatement! We have very high hopes for this pairing as both sire and dam are very prepotent! Be sure to check back and see our little blessing! Suki is "due" to foal June 30th.
