Papale is Born

As we were expecting three foals for the 2009 season, we decided to send Duna to a foal-out facility that was only ten minutes away from Anoka Equine.  When LeAnn called the evening of May 5th and said Duna had foaled, it was torture to wait until morning to go see him.  I was so shocked, yet pleased, to see that Duna had passed along her sabino gene.  I was instantly smitten with him.  Thankfully, after the rough foaling season we had endured up to this point, Duna's foaling had gone without a hitch other than she retained her placenta, which was, yet again, easily managed by the excellent staff at Anoka Equine.
