May Flower Dressage Show

Our first true show of the season, and I was sick as a dog!  I had gone to the doctor days before the show in hopes of a good antibiotic, but no such luck; I was told it was a virus and to let it run its course.  My resting heart rate was in the 120's when normally it is in the 60's.  Needless to say, I was miserable.  Duna could sense I was not 100%, and the little stinker took advantage of it!  We lacked a forward rhythm, so, while all the movements were decently correct, other than "jumping" into the canter instead of "pushing" into it, our scores reflected lack of energy.  After returning home, I went back to the doctor and was found to have a double ear infection as well as a severe sinus infection...I finally got my antibiotic!

Saturday:  Training Level Test 2 - 62.143%;  Training Level Test 3 - 62.400%

Sunday:  Training Level Test 1 - 63.750%;  Training Level Test 3 - 63.600%
