Cooler by the Lake Dressage Show

Our second dressage show of the season, and I was feeling back to 100%!  I had high hopes for this show, and, after our first ride, Duna was proving to be a competitive partner, earning a 72.500% at Training Level Test 1.  However, her energy reserves seemed to drain a little more after each passing ride, and our scores reflected it.  I felt like an inflated balloon that someone had taken a pin to.  To start the show with a 72.500% and end the show with a 63.571%, I was devastated.  However, I knew what our homework was before the next show...conditioning along with self-carriage!

Saturday:  Training Level Test 1 - 72.500%;  Training Level Test 3 - 66.400%

Sunday:  Training Level Test 3 - 64.000%;  Training Level Test 2 - 63.571%

Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures of us actually showing at this show.  However, as of this show, our second show of the season, we had already successfully qualified for USDF Region 4 Championships to be held in September in Mason City, IA!
